2026-2027 School Year Enrollment Dates

Open Enrollment: November 3, 2025 – December 19, 2025
Lottery (Offer Day): January 14, 2026

Any applications submitted after the open enrollment period are processed on a first-come, first-served basis. If there are more applications than seats available, prospective students will be placed on a waitlist.

 

Current families with new, incoming students: All current families with NEW incoming students must submit an application for each new student during the Open Enrollment period (i.e. incoming kindergarten students)

Lottery Process: If we receive more applications than available seats during Open Enrollment, a lottery will be held for all applications submitted within this period. Each application will be randomly assigned a lottery number, and offers will be extended based on this order. Families of students who do not receive an offer on Offer Day, January 14th, will be placed on a waitlist according to their lottery number.

Sibling Priority: Incoming students with siblings currently enrolled at Great Hearts Harveston receive priority in the lottery, increasing their likelihood of acceptance, though it is not guaranteed.

Re-Enrollment for Current Families

Any guardian/parent of a current student who plans to return the following school year at the same academy must fill out re-enrollment paperwork to confirm the student’s intent to return. During the re-enrollment period, once a parent/guardian elects “No” and withdraws from the enrollment system or a withdrawal form is turned into the front office of where the student is attending during any period, the academy can offer that position to another student waiting to receive an offer.
